Argentina assures 'progess being made' with Iran over AMIA bombing case
Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman.
The national government said today that progress was being made with Iran regarding the legal proceedings for the 1994 AMIA bombing case.
A press communiqué released by the Foreign Ministry revealed that Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman met with his Iranian pair Ali Akbar Salehi on January 3 in Zurich, and that the meeting had been “highly productive” in the advancement of the legal proceedings of the defendants accused of the committing the crime.
