Canadian oil company completes shale well in Neuquén

An unconventional shale exploration well was successfully completed by Canadian company Americas Petrogas in the Vaca Muerta oil field located in Neuquén province, it was reported in a press release. 

It is the third unconventional shale well performed by Americas Petrogras’ joint partnership with ExxonMobil. 

The company’s CEO Barclay Hambrook said that the well would help determine the extent and potential resources of Vaca Muerta.
