CFK spends Christmas in Río Gallegos
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with her family in Río Gallegos, prior to her expected return to Buenos Aires tomorrow, when she will continue with official activities at the Government House.
Fernández de Kirchner arrived to Santa Cruz province on the Tango 01 presidential plane at around 7 pm on Sunday, under heavy rain, first going to stay with her son Máximo, who was with his partner, Rocío García.
Afterward, the Head of State, who had originally planned to stay at her house in El Calafate, went to the province’s capital to spend Christmas with her family.
Upon her return she is expected to attend the promotion ceremony for members of the Armed Forces, which takes place on Thursday, although due to the recent looting incidents, it has not yet been confirmed.
