Heat wave hits BA; rain, hail alert issued for midnight

A heat wave was hitting Buenos Aires province on Christmas Eve with temperatures rising to 34.4 degrees with the wind chill factor hitting more than 40 degrees in the City.

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) today issued an alert for heavy rain and hail for midnight.
