SC analyses gov't per saltum request

The Supreme Court of Justice will meet next week in order to come to an agreement over the ‘per saltum’ legal request filed yesterday by the national government, raised over divestment discrepancies regarding the Media Law.

The court must decide whether to admit the appeal and, where appropriate, the merits after the government filed an “institutional grievance” regarding articles 161 and 45 o the Media Law, court sources said.

“The judges are analyzing the topic,” and intend on reaching a decision on Thursday, the sources said.
