Government notifies Clarín to transfer licenses

Martín Sabatella, the head of AFSCA media watchdog this morning notified Grupo Clarín that it is required to start the process to transfer its licenses today while the group has already appealed judge Horacio Alfonso’s decision on the Media Law’s constitutionality.

“The (media) law is in effect," Sabatella told reporters before entering Grupo Clarín headquarters.
