CFK holds bilateral meeting with Dilma Rousseff in Brasilia
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner held a bilateral meeting with her Brazilian counterpart, Dilma Rousseff, after participating in the Mercosur Summit held this morning in Brasilia.
The presidents met at 5:10 pm along with their ministers and debated about a number of issues of the bilateral agenda.
Brazil's Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota told the press that they analyzed "trade, investments, integration projects related to infrastructure and power, the integration in the Mercosur and South America, a very wide and extremely positive conversation."
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman, also announced that both presidents will hold a new meeting by the end of January at El Calafate.
Patriota affirmed that "they talked about increasing trade, diversifying it and find a way to reach an intense trade, not only between Brazil and Argentina, but also with the region, inside the Mercosur and South America."
After the encounter, Fernández de Kirchner and the rest of the national envoy went to the airport to return to Argentina.
