CFK flies to Brasilia for Mercosur Summit
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner left for Brasilia today, where she will participate on the Mercosur summit on Friday.
Fernández de Kirchner took off from the military sector of the Metropolitan airport. Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman, Economy Minister Hernán Lorenzino and Industry Ministert Débora Giorgi have already arrived in Brasilia and will also take part of the regional bloc summit.
Before traveling to Brazil, the Head of State met with Jia Qinglin, a high ranking Chinese government official.
The Mercosur Summit will begin early on Friday, with a breakfast, followed by a meeting of the heads of state and a lunch at the Itamaraty palace in Brasilia.
