Buenos Aires stocks remain positive after latest US court decision
Buenos Aires stocks moved up 0.4 percent today, with the Merval benchmark stock index reaching 2,470.04 points.
The positive movement in trading continued after a US court ruling yesterday which refused to order Argentina to pay a security deposit of at least US$250 million while it seeks to overturn a lower court ruling that orders it to pay holdout investors US$1.33 billion.
Argentina's country-risk fell by 1.9 percent, standing at 1,086 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
