‘We're witnessing the end of the Kirchnerite era,’ UCR’s Sanz

National Senator Ernesto Sanz (Radical Party) said today that though the massive demonstrations that took the streets on November 8 were "a message for all politicians in general and we can't deny it", Argentina "is witnessing the end of the Kirchnerite era."

Furthermore, Sanz explained that on next year’s mid-term elections “the Kirchnerism will try to reach the majority in both houses of Congress to then go for a constitutional amendment, which for them is the mother of all battles as it could enable the re-reelection for President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.”

“But I am convinced that in 2013 the Kirchnerism will have its final verdict from the people as the mid-.term elections will show them that they do not have as many followers as they believe.”
