Tuesday's national strike 'will be like none other' says Barrionuevo
The head of the Blue and White CGT umbrella labour union Luis Barrionuevo, today said that the national labour union strike to take place on Tuesday “will be huge” also criticizing the government over end of year bonus payments.
“The strike will be like none other,” said Barrionuevo, speaking about the strike to be held by the dissident CGT led by Hugo Moyano, the Blue and White CGT and the dissident CTA union run by Pablo Micheli to take place on Tuesday.
Furthermore, Barrionuevo also mentioned the announcement of one-off tax relief for the Christmas bonuses of all salaries grossing under 25,000 pesos (around 98 percent of all pay) announced by the president during the week stating:
“The President cleared out the country and then gives us a Christmas cake at the end of the year,” criticizing the measure.
