BA stocks move down by 1.7%
Buenos Aires stocks moved down by 1.7 percent in today's trade, with the Merval benchmark stock index reaching 2,283.09 points at the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange.
The Merval is pressured by the fuel sector and a market looking at the court case over the vulture funds, as Argentina presents its defence to Judge Thomas Griesa in New York today.
It has accumulated losses of 4.5 percent this week.
Argentina's country-risk fell by 5.02 percent, standing at 1,211 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
