Lorenzino praises France's banking reform

Economy Minister Hernán Lorenzino came on stage today to refer to an article published on Ambito Financiero newspaper which reported that France will ban high-frequency trading (HFT) amid its upcoming banking reform.

The minister stressed via his Twitter account that the end of economic speculation should be a “global challenge.”

"France is also reforming its capital markets, separating financial trading activities from real economy operations," he concluded.
