Independiente's president says gov't pledged full support and 'CFK was very worried'
The president of Independiente (R) meets Cabinet Chief Juan Manuel Abal Medina, and Security Ministry''s secretary Sergio Berni.
Cabinet Chief Abal Medina met today at the Govermnent House with Security Secreatary Sergio Berni and the president of Independient club, Javier Cantero.
The meeting was scheduled for today at noon after the violent incidents at Independiente's stadium which last Wednesday forced authorities to suspend the match against Belgrano.
After the meeting ended, Cantero said the government pledged "full support" to keep expelling hooligans from the club.
Two hooligans were arrested yesterday and Cantero confirmed that one of them is a club member and “barra brava”.
Cantero added "it seemed as if the hooligans couldn't be eliminated but Independiente made it and we couldn't have done it without the government's support."
