BA stocks edge lower

Buenos Aires stocks edged down by 1.41 percent in afternoon trade, with the Merval benchmark stock index reaching 2,320.69 points.

It has accumulated gains of 1.3% this month and losses of 1.7% this week.

Argentina's country-risk fell by 1.2%, standing at 1,220 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
