Buenos Aires stocks edge down

Buenos Aires stocks edged down by 1 percent in today's trade with the Merval benchmark stock index hitting 2,370.19 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose by 3.8 percent, standing at 1,133 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
