Ferrer beats Del Potro in London Masters debut
Argentina''s Juan Martin Del Potro sits on his seat in a break between games against Spain''s David Ferrer.
Juan Martín Del Potro, Argentina's top-seeded player, lost to Spain's David Ferrer (4) by 6-3, 3-6 and 6-4, in his debut at London Masters' Group B.
The player from Tandil city, who has reached the seventh place at the ATP ranking, was defeated after a two hours and 16 minutes game at the central court.
Del Potro will now face Serb Janko Tipsarevic (8) on Thursday.
