Reutemann says Scioli will overcome CFK in next election
Senator for the Santa Fe Federal caucus Carlos Reutermann sustained today that he had “put on hold” his presidential aspirations and that he was confident that Buenos Aires province governor Daniel Scioli would be the candidate to succeed President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in the 2015 election.
Reutemann was interviewed by a local radio station today.
“This conversation has been had many a time and it’s not in my best interest to keep talking about it.
“There are still three years until the elections, however, our entrance to the race is for the moment being stored,” the senator sustained.
Furthermore, after a few months silence, the former governor for Santa Fe province considered the upcoming legislative elections next year to be “hugely important and a great challenge” for the government due to the fact that “the image of President Kirchner has deteriorated.”
