CFK signs teen vote into law
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner signed today the decree that formally made the teen suffrage bill into law whilst hosting a celebratory ceremony at the Government House over 20 million DNI cards being handed out.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Head of State held a telephone conference over television with Mendoza and Tucumán provinces where she announced the reopening of factories.
Shortly after, the 20 millionth DNI was given out to twins Matías and Ezequiel Criado who recently turned 16 years old.
The President was hosting the ceremony alongside Interior and Transport Minister Florencio Randazzo, Vice-President Amado Boudou, Industry Minister Débora Giorgi and Cabinet Chief Juan Manuel Abal Medina.
