Caló's CGT: Labour Ministry 'recognizes election's legitimacy'
Members of the anti-Moyano CGT Labour Confederation faction highlighted that the Labour Ministry recognizes Antonio Caló's election as "legitimate and authentic."
"What's important is that the Labour Ministry has recognized the CGT's majority, authenticity and legal elections," the head of the Nation's Civil Workers Union (UPCN) Andrés Rodríguez said.
The secretary of the Argentine Federation of Health Workers, Héctor Daer, stated that the Ministry "did not rule out the congress, but consider valid the only one that was legitimate, which was the election held on October 3."
"So the authorities that were legally elected are the ones officially considered as valid," Daer continued.
On Tuesday, Hugo Moyano unveiled he had received a notification from the Labour Ministry which annulled the CGT elections which reelected him a secretary general of the labour confederation.
