Bus crash kills at least 4, injures 75 in Jujuy province

Four people were killed and some 50 others were badly injured after a bus crashed into the back of a truck outside Palpalá town in Jujuy province.

Four teenagers between the age of 13 and 19 died in the accident that occurred at about 10 pm last night some 6 kilometres away from Palpalá along national route 6, police sources said.

The death toll was confirmed by Jujuy’s health minister Víctor Urbani, however the victims of the crash have yet to be identified.

The truck the bus crashed into was carrying Talleres de Perico football fans on their way to watch a match.
