Barack Obama casts early vote in Chicago

US president Barack Obama cast his early vote in a Chicago community centre as the homestretch for the presidential elections begins.
Obama cast his ballot a few minutes after 4 pm (Chicago time) in the Martin Luther King Community Centre and became the first seating president in history to cast an early vote instead of waiting to Election Day on November 6.
