Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires stocks were higher in today's trading. The Merval benchmark stock index edged up 1.2 percent to 2,457.16 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 0.5 percent, standing at 862 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
