Two injured as car crashes, sets on fire
Two young people were injured and burnt after the car in which they were traveling collided against another vehicle and was set on fire in the City neighbourhood of Palermo early on Saturday.
The incident took place shortly after 7 am, when a Renault 19 car tried to make an illegal U-turn in Del Libertador avenue was rear ended by another car which was speeding.
According to police sources, the Renault car spinned several times and was set on fire in the middle of one thee of the City’s most important avenues.
Police officers from the nearby racetrack immediately assisted the victims, who were taken to a local hospital.
