Economy grows 1.4% in August, Indec

Economic activity increased 1.4 percent in August in comparison to the volume registered during the same month of 2011, according to the Indec national statistics bureau.

When compared with July, the EMAE Economic Activity Monthly Estimate grew 0.2 percent. In the first eight months of the year, EMAE increased 2.3 percent compared to the volume registered during the same time period of 2011.
