Lula calls Argentina, Brazil businessmen to build alliances

Brazil's ex President Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva blasted the "protectionist" measures of the developed l countries and called for an alliance between Argentina and Brazilian businessmen, as he highlighted that the gian neighbor "grows, but with a controlled inflation rate."

"Argentine and Brazilian businessmen must learn to build alliances, we have to negotiate in order to build bi-national companies, that could be able to fight with global enterprises in the market", Lula stated during the first night of the Idea Colloquium.

The former president highlighted that "the main challenge is to strengthen the structures that already exist in a world that shows an unequal distribution", and added, "when we talk about sustainable development, we speak about reducing poverty and unequal societies."

"When the world faces a phenomenal crisis, we need to build experiences together in order to it", the once unionist continued as he joked about the next football World Cup by saying "don't even think of winning the Brazil 2014 World Cup."
