Border Guard officers continue protest, say Gov't 'didn't give an answer to solve conflict'

Border Guard officers' spokesman Raúl Maza warned that they did not receive "any answer from the Government" over their wage claims, and stated that they abandoned the protest at the Centinela building because of "reprisals."

Maza highlighted that the officers' claim - that led to a ten-days protest at different headquarters of the forces - still "continues."

"We left the protest at the building on Thurdsay because we suffered reprisals," the spokesman told the press after being asked about the end of demonstrations.

Maza stated during a radio interview that they are "getting organized so to define a representative board."
