Raúl Garré denies responsibility for Border Guard conflict
The former cabinet chief at the Security Ministry, Raúl Garré, denied responsibility for the wage cuts that provoked a week-long protest by Border Guards and Coast Guards in Buenos Aires City last week.
“It would appear as if I were the one who created a decree that took away a large chunk of people’s wages. There was talk of 40 or 50 percent,” the brother of Security Minister Nilda Garré said.
