Argentina to appeal to 'bilateral administration' with Ghana

Defence Minister Arturo Puricelli assured that Argentina will apply a "bilateral administration" with Ghana to achieve the release of the Libertad Frigate, which has been detained in a port close to Accra with its crew since October 2nd due to a complaint by a US hedge fund.

"We are going to apply a bilateral administration with Ghana and then follow the road marked by the international rights," Puricelli assured, as the national Government sent an envoy to begin negotiations.

The government decided to sent the Deputy Foreign Minister Eduardo Zuain and Defence deputy Minister, Alfredo Forti, to Ghana in order to start with the political dialogue.
