Students meet officials, march to City Education Ministry
Buenos Aires City students marched down to the City Education Ministry after meeting with Minister Esteban Bullrich's advisers. Takeovers were still being carried out in over 40 secondary schools across the capital.
A total of thirteen students took part in a meeting inside the City Education Ministry building, in an attempt to put across their opinions over the changes to the curriculum.
Students claim that their participation in workshops to discuss the 2013 syllabus reforms are guaranteed. They also want a pilot project that would be applied in 26 schools in 2013 to be halted and that the double degree of artistic schools to be kept.
They also claim that the 90 specialties that currently exist in secondary schools remain valid and that 200 hours of internships in technical schools are eliminated.
