Buenos Aires stocks move down

Buenos Aires stocks dipped in afternoon trade today. The Merval benchmark stock index moved down by 1.9 percent, hitting 2,387.81 points.

So far this month it has accumulated losses of 0.4%. So far this year it has lowered by a total of 1.1%.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 0.6%, standing at 883 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
