CFK takes to social networks to congratulate Chávez
President Cristina Fernández said she spoke with her Venezuelan counterpart after he found out of his reelection and congratulated him for this victory.
“Your victory is our victory. It’s South America’s and the Caribbean’s victory. Stay strong Hugo! Stay strong Venezuela! Stay strong Mercosur and Unasur!,” she said on her Facebook profile.
In her post, the President congratulated the Venezuelan people for “making an example of a democratic day. For happiness and peace,” and assured that “love is stronger than hate.”
“Hugo, you always tell of Bolivar’s words in exile, when he said ‘I feel I have ploughed the sea.’ Hugo, I want to tell you you have ploughed the land, you’ve sown the land, watered it and now you’re reaping the crops,” she said.
