Capriles’ finale

Opposition candidate Henrique Capriles Radonski also closed his presidential campaign yesterday with a rally in Lara state.

During his speech he reminded President Hugo Chávez that his term in office ends on October 7.

“I thank you because during this campaign you have showed me the path to take. It is the path of love, clarity, commitment, and progress; not insult and hatred,” Capriles said surrounded by thousands of supporters. “President Chávez, you have been a difficult rival. This was the fight of David versus Goliath and it is David who wins,” he added.
