Footage of The Beatles filming Magical Mystery Tour uncovered

Unedited video footage of The Beatles talking and eating in a fish and chip shop and singing on board a coach while filming their “Magical Mystery Tour” in 1967 was uncovered today, after it was published on website thespace.org.

The footage is of a trip the band made to Smedley's chip shop in Taunton, with cast and crew as they filmed the scenes in 1967 for a BBC Christmas special.

Only a small section of the footage made it into the final film but now behind-the-scenes shots have been compiled by makers of a new Arena documentary and are being shown online.
