Buenos Aires stocks edge down

Buenos Aires stocks edged lower today, as the Merval benchmark index dropped 1.6 percent to 2,453.62 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose by 0.5 percent to 896 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
