City Government lawmakers passed in the early hours of this morning the law which allows the non-punishable practice of abortions in the case of life endangerment as well as if the pregnancy is caused by rape.

The law was passed with thirty votes in favour and 29 against in the PRO caucus and supporters and coincides with the criteria applied by the Supreme Court of Justice which determined that rape victims are allowed to get an abortion without court permission.
