'There's no such a thing as a clamp on foreign currency exchange'

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner answered Harvard students'' questions.

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner affirmed that "there's no such thing as a clamp on foreign currency exchange," during her lecture at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.

Regarding the exchange rate, she assured that "some get pissed off because they can't justify where they took their funds from" to purchase foreign currency, and that the description "exchange rate controls" is a "media concept."

During her speech, the President also stated that "I want to be a responsible president to guarantee the dollars to the importers who have to buy supplies."
