President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner met with the head of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Luis Alberto Moreno, in Washington in the midst of her visit to the US.

After the one-hour meeting held at the organization's headquarters, Fernández de Kirchner highlighted before the press the 150 million dollars credit that the IDB gave to the country to reduce chronic diseases.

The Head of State also stated that during the encounter with Moreno, she gave him "an idea of what's going on in Argentina and our concerns about the global crisis."
