Buenos Aires stocks move down

Buenos Aires stocks ended lower in today's trade with the Merval benchmark stock index dropping by 2.8 percent to 2,461.01 points.

So far it has accumulated gains of 2.2 percent in September.

Argentina's country-risk edged up by 1.1 percent, standing at 900 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
