Judge Oyarbide quits Moreno's case
Judge Norberto Oyarbide today quit the court case against Domestic Trade Secretary Guillermo Moreno. A Customs agent had accused Moreno of “mistreatment and threats.” Yesterday, it was announced the judge would preside over the case, but he came on stage today to say he is quitting on "moral violence" after a protest was carried out last night in front of his house.
Oyarbide is already presiding over other sensitive cases for the national government, such as the alleged diversion of funds from the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo Foundation.
