Independiente beat Uruguay's Liverpool

Argentina´s Independiente midfielder Victor Zapata (L) vies for the ball with Uruguay´s Liverpool midfielder Jonathan Barboza.

Argentina's Independiente defeated Uruguay's Liverpool by 2-1 in the match for the pre-quarter finals's first leg of the Sudamericana Cup.

Independiente's Fabián Vargas opened the score only 4' after the beginning of the match, while his teammate Paulo Rosales netted the second goal at 4' of the second half.

Only 5' before the end of the match, Carlos Núñez managed to score the only goal of the Uruguayan team.
