Buzzi's FAA to join CGT-CTA October anti-gov’t protest
Argentine Agrarian Federation head Eduardo Buzzi confirmed this morning that the entity he rules will join CGT Labour Confederation boss Hugo Moyano, and dissident CTA union umbrella’s leader Pablo Michelli in the October 11 protest against the national government.
“We are joining the protest to demand a hike of the income tax floors, and the current sahmeful minimum wage which is only 2,600 pesos”, Buzzi stressed during a radio appearance.
Likewise, the farmer remarked that his entity will also claim for the “poor state of all small and medium sized companies as they are no longer profitable and being left behind due to the country’s lack of competitiveness.”
“There are real problems with the country’s economy: the workers’ consuming capacity is coming into a downfall as inflation, which the national government doesn’t want to recognize, does not stop its way up.”
To end, Buzzi said “everybody is well invited to join the rally; it is not going to be a march comprised by political apparatus.”
