Protesters lift roadblock on 9 de Julio Avenue

Members of the CCC social faction lifted a roadblock they were staging on 6 lanes of the 9 de Julio Avenue intersection Belgrano Ave., leaving only two open lanes as they protested in demand of more welfare plans as well as raising the minimum pension floor to 82% of contributors' real average earning.

According to sources, the protesters were planning to march toward the Buenos Aires City Hall, but after heavy police presence was deployed, protestors decided to change lift the protest.
