Buenos Aires stocks edge down

Buenos Aires stocks edged lower today, as the Merval benchmark index dropped 2.5 percent to 2,479.24 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 1.5 percent to 847 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
