Aníbal Fernández: 'Pot-banging protests, the work of professionals'

Victory Front senator Aníbal Fernández stressed during a TV interview that the mass protests of last Thursday were not spontaneous.

According to the former President Cristina Fernández’ cabinet chief, the demonstrations which were called through social media, had “thousands of fake profiles” created to call for the protest.

“It was not a spontaneous thing, this was the work of professionals,” Fernández said.

The senator also stated most of demonstrators come from the middle and upper classes and admitted protesters had “different reasons to gather, including some valid ones.”

Fernández also highlighted there was “hatred” in the words protesters articulated.
