Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires stocks rose today, with the Merval benchmark stock index moving up by 1.4 percent to 2,543.86 points.

Argentina's country-risk fell by 6.1 percent, standing at 860 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
