Pablo Moyano repudiates Aníbal Fernández's remarks

Teamsters' Union head Pablo Moyano responded today to Victory Front Senator Aníbal Fernández's remarks on his father, Hugo Moyano, by questioning the former cabinet chief’s ‘moral authority’ and blasting him for what he called the senator’s “lack of memory.”

“What kind of moral authority do you bear to question comrade Moyano?” the teamster asked in a communiqué to the press.

Yesterday, Fernández stated that only two or three unions will continue to support Hugo Moyano after the dissident CGT-backed by the national government votes for its Secretary General in October 3rd.

“After October, Moyano will be left with the support of two or three unions,” assured the senator.

“After the elections, Moyano’s real supporters will be revealed. Some things are over the top. Reality will be revealed when all unions come together and only two or three stand by Moyano and whathisface (Blue and White CGT leader Barrionuevo),” Fernández remarked.

Today, Pablo Moyano took his indignation to a statement directed to press repudiating the senator’s predictions and accusing President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s and her late husband’s administration of having “bad memory.”

“You and the entire Néstor Kirchner’s government depended on Moyano. Or did you forget the late President’s calls for us not to abandon him?” the unionist said.
