Macri: 'CFK's eternity project responds to huge ego, pettiness'

Buenos Aires City Mayor Mauricio Macri came on stage to dilapidate President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s hopes for a third term by making clear he will battle any possible constitutional reform attempt.

In a radio interview, the leader of the right wing PRO party urged the population “not to get crazy about things that are just the product of a huge ego, individualism, and pettiness.

Likewise, the business tycoon reiterated that “no one is indispensable.”

Macri, who a few weeks ago said he will head the battle against the President’s attempts to clinch a third term, remarked today that politicians should understand “that we are all part of an enormous puzzle called Argentina, that first we must put all pieces together to then start all together pushing forward into the same direction.”

To conclude the Mayor stated: “I believe in renovation, I don not conceive or believe in projects of eternity.”
