Renault suspends 1,200 employees for a day
Carmaker Renault suspended 1,200 workers for one day due to the lack of materials imported from Brazil, although the production will be resumed on Friday.
The company announced the measure in a communiqué which stated that it will "suspend the activities at the Santa Isabel plant due to stock issues" of Brazilian products.
Renault also had to stop the vehicles fabrication last August 24 for the same reason.
