Sabella summons Ustari for World Cup qualifiers

Oscar Ustari arrives in Ezeiza.

The coach of Argentina's national football team, Alejandro Sabella, summoned Boca Juniors' goalkeeper Oscar Ustari to join the team that will face Paraguay and Peru for the World Cup Brazil 2014 South American qualifiers.

Sabella chose Ustari over River Plate's Marcelo Barovero, who was the other goalkeeper that could be summoned.

"A few months ago I was far from this, so I'm enjoying this. I have to keep on working and remain calmed," Ustari assured after he was informed about Sabella's decision.

Argentina began training on Monday at Ezeiza's Argentine Football Association headquarters.

Maximiliano Rodríguez, Clemente Rodríguez, Rodrigo Braña, Marcos Rojo, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Hernán Barcos, Pablo Zabaleta and Pablo Guiñazú were already training this afternoon.

Meanwhile, the rest of the team, including Lionel Messi, Ángel Di María, Gonzalo Higuaón and Rodrigo Palacio, will join the team tomorrow.
